Elizabeth Sherry Bufano was born in 1951 in New Jesey. She earned her A.B.F.A. in printmaking at the Philadelphia College of Art. She finished her studies at the Tyler School of Art. Elizabeth shows her compassion not for just art, but for children as well. She managed a workshop for inner-city children and taught summer session art classes at the Chester County School System. From there, she began her own "Long Swamp Studio" a children's drawing class. Bufano uses many methods to create her art. Her mediums include lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, watercolor and various mixed media. Her works were featured in the Philadelphia Print Club's 60th Anniverary Exhibition in 1975 as well as Pennsylvania Print Club in 1978. She has participated in various art shows and television appearances demonstrating her talent in the art of printmaking and creating etchings.
